Lebua State Hotel Bangkok Review

Location

Situated on Silom Road in the Bang Rak district, Lebua offers a prime location near the Chao Phraya River. It’s within walking distance of the Saphan Taksin BTS SkyTrain station and the Sathorn Pier, facilitating easy access to the best things to do in Bangkok and opposite Icon Siam Bangkok.

The bustling Patpong Night Market and various dining and shopping options are also nearby. Similar to the other top hotels in the area, such as the Conrad Bangkok, this is a great area for top-rated hotels in the city.

How to Get There

Lebua at State Tower is located in Bangkok’s Bang Rak district, close to the Chao Phraya River and just a short walk from Saphan Taksin BTS Skytrain Station, making it surprisingly easy to reach despite its luxury feel.

By BTS Skytrain

The easiest and cheapest way to get to the hotel is by taking the BTS Silom Line to Saphan Taksin Station. From Exit 3, it’s around a 7–10 minute walk to the hotel. This is a great option if you’re travelling from popular areas like Siam, Sukhumvit, or Silom and want to avoid Bangkok’s heavy traffic.

By Taxi or Grab

Taxis and Grab rides are widely available throughout Bangkok and can drop you directly outside the hotel entrance. If travelling during rush hour, expect traffic delays, especially in the late afternoon and evening. Always make sure the taxi driver uses the meter or agree on a price before starting the journey.

From Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)

One of the standout parts of staying at lebua at State Tower is the exceptional level of service from the staff. From the moment you arrive, the team creates a luxury experience with warm greetings, efficient check-in, and attention to detail that makes guests feel genuinely welcomed.

Concierge staff are incredibly helpful when arranging taxis, restaurant reservations, or day trips around Bangkok, while the housekeeping team keeps the large suites spotless throughout your stay. We found that the staff were professional and attentive in the Sky Bar and the breakfast staff are, despite the hotel often being busy with visitors, very helpful.

English is widely spoken, and the overall service feels polished without being overly formal, helping create the relaxed luxury atmosphere the hotel is known for.

Alongside signature drinks, the menu also includes premium classics, champagne, wines, and creative seasonal cocktails crafted by expert mixologists. Drinks are definitely on the expensive side compared to the rest of Bangkok, but most visitors agree you are paying for the unforgettable setting as much as the cocktails themselves. My husband and I have always enjoyed our stays in Lebua, which is why we wanted to share this Lebua State Hotel Bangkok review. There are plenty of fantastic luxury hotels in Bangkok but Lebua is a great choice for value and location. 

The pros of the fantastic riverfront location, the excellent dining and sky bar experience, the friendly staff, and the excellent price (compared to other 5-star hotels along the river), outweigh the cons, which is mainly a slight need for room updates and renovations.
