  • Use the Free Shuttle Boat
One of the easiest and most scenic ways to reach ICONSIAM is by taking the free shuttle boat from Sathorn Pier near BTS Saphan Taksin station. It’s often quicker than sitting in Bangkok traffic and gives you great river views along the way.

ICONSIAM is huge and you’ll likely spend several hours walking around. Between the shopping floors, SOOKSIAM market area, restaurants, and riverside promenade, there’s a lot to explore.
  • Bring a Light Sweater or Jacket
Like many malls in Bangkok, the air conditioning inside can feel surprisingly cold, especially if you’re coming in from the heat outside.

Many visitors underestimate how much there is to see and eat inside SOOKSIAM. If you enjoy Thai street food or local shopping, you could easily spend an hour or more exploring this section alone.

ICONSIAM regularly hosts festivals, concerts, art displays, and holiday events throughout the year. Visiting during Christmas, Songkran, or Lunar New Year can make the experience even more memorable.
  • Take Advantage of the Riverside Seating Areas
Don’t rush through the outdoor promenade. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views of the Chao Phraya River, especially around sunset when the city starts to light up.
  • Set a Budget Before Shopping
ICONSIAM has everything from affordable food stalls to ultra-luxury designer brands. It’s easy to get carried away, especially if you love shopping or trying new food.
