Best Beef Bangkok Restaurant Review (Updated 2026)

Best Beef Bangkok is one of our favourite restaurants in the city which is why we are sharing this restaurant review and guide, so you can visit on your next trip.

Bangkok is a city that never does anything halfway; especially when it comes to food. From hidden street-side grills tucked beneath neon lights to wildly themed dining spots that feel more like art installations than restaurants, the Thai capital is packed with quirky places to eat in Bangkok.

Youโ€™ll find everything from retro diners and jungle-inspired cafรฉs to tiny hole-in-the-wall kitchens serving up dishes that rival Michelin-starred meals. Itโ€™s this mix of creativity, chaos, and culinary passion that makes eating in Bangkok such an unforgettable experience.

Among all the colour and character, though, there are a few places that truly stand outโ€”and not just for their atmosphere. Some restaurants focus on doing one thing exceptionally well, and in this case, itโ€™s all about the beef. Tucked away in the cityโ€™s buzzing food scene, Best Beef Bangkok has built a loyal following for its no-frills setup, interactive dining style, and seriously good value. It might not have the polished look of a high-end steakhouse, but thatโ€™s exactly part of its charmโ€”and why itโ€™s become a go-to spot for locals, expats, and curious travellers alike.

What is Best Beef?

Best Beef is a buffet restaurant in Bangkok, offering a range of different food which you cook yourself! We love this restaurant for a few reasons โ€“ the food is fresh, the atmosphere is relaxed, the food is good value for money and the meal itself is a great experience.

Best Beef Bangkok Menu

Best Beef Bangkok

There are a selection of meats, seafood and vegetables available as well as a selection of cooked foods such as chicken nuggets, spaghetti, french fries and more.

Make sure you try the river prawns โ€“ they are amazing. We also enjoyed trying some of the different cuts and types of meat โ€“ I have never had a Pig Tongue before!

One of the biggest reasons people visit Best Beef Bangkok is the sheer variety of food available. Unlike a traditional steakhouse, this is a DIY BBQ buffet where you cook everything yourselfโ€”so choosing the right items makes all the difference.

If itโ€™s your first time visiting, here are the must-try dishes:

Beef Options (the main attraction)

  • Marinated beef slicesย โ€“ Tender, flavourful, and perfect for quick grilling
  • Sirloin cutsย โ€“ Slightly thicker with a bit more bite
  • Garlic-marinated beefย โ€“ One of the tastiest options on the menu

Seafood

  • Fresh prawns (a crowd favourite)
  • Squid and shellfish options depending on the day

Other Meats

  • Pork belly โ€“ great for crispy edges
  • Chicken skewers โ€“ ideal for mixing things up
  • Pig tongue โ€“ surprisingly popular and worth trying if youโ€™re feeling adventurous

Sides & Extras

  • Vegetables for grilling
  • Instant noodles you can cook in the broth
  • Dipping sauces (donโ€™t skip theseโ€”they make the meal!)

Pro tip:ย Donโ€™t overload your grill at the startโ€”cook in small batches so everything cooks evenly and stays juicy.

The setting

The restaurant is partially open-air, with options to site under a roof or outside. There are no sides to the warehouse-style restaurant so it stays fairly cool, plus there are fans everywhere. It is worth noting, that under the roof can be quite dark but seemed to be a lot cooler as the evening went on, with more fans in the area.

The seating is no-frills, with wooden tables and chairs but large tables are available and it is ideal for a relaxed evening with friends.
