Zeta Cafe Holiday Inn Bangkok – Delicious, affordable buffet on Sukhumvit

Bangkok is known for its amazing street food but there are also some tasty buffet options in the many hotels across the city. One warm Sunday morning, we headed to the Zeta Cafe Holiday Inn restaurant to try their Sunday Brunch; we weren’t disappointed.

Zeta Cafe Holiday Inn Review

The food

If you are heading here for the Sunday Brunch Buffet, you can expect plenty of seafood on ice, including Oysters, Mussels and prawns. Healthy eaters will appreciate the wide selection of salads and veg plates on offer and we loved the variety of sushi and Sashimi available too. The cold section also included a selection of cheeses and some deli meats too.

The buffet is smaller than other hotel buffets, which is reflected in the price but the food is just as tasty. On our visit, dishes included red curry, beef stew, pad thai and pork omelette.

As for western food, the buffet included pizza and pasta made-to-order. We tried a selection of the pasta sauces with various toppings and they were very food; the cheese sauce is amazing.

Whilst sitting at your tables, you will also notice a list of 4-5 items available. During our visit, these were chicken, pork chops, river prawns and sea bass.

Seafood and pork chops

And for my favourite part – desserts! As we visited post-covid, all desserts were individually portioned rather than large cakes that you cut slices from. There also was not a chocolate fountain here but there was previously. The desserts themselves were surprisingly very good; there was a variety of cakes from chocolate pudding to mango to jellies. The buffet also has a freezer of ice cream options which you could top with your favourite sweet treats and sauces. For those who are a little more health-conscious, there is a selection of fruits available too.

As for drinks, the usual soft drinks were included as were three fruit juices; I believe these vary.

BBQ & Seafood buffet

Although seafood is the speciality here, Zeta Cafe at Holiday Inn offers a BBQ buffet from Friday to Sunday evenings, served on the terrace as the sunsets. This is the perfect option for groups of friends or those looking for a romantic meal on the weekend.
