TANOTE VILLA KOH TAO RESORT REVIEW

Location
It can be tricky to get around Koh Tao, since parts of the island are not easily accessible and taxis are very expensive but you can get a ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Tao with ease. The Tanote Villa Hotel sits close to Tanote Bay which is located a 15-minute drive from the harbour. The roads are narrow and steep so walking is not really advisable.
The Tanote Villa Hotel might not be as close to the harbour as other hotels in Koh Tao but it has direct access to one of the island’s best beaches. Ao Tanote Beach is great for swimming, kayaking or cliff jumping and is usually quiet without many crowds. The beach is only a short walk away from the hotel and easily reachable on foot.
The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with an incredible beach. If you’re looking for nightlife and busy streets, however, you might be happier staying somewhere close to the harbour. Koh Tao is one of the many beautiful places in Thailand to explore and this hotel definitely showcases that.

Rooms
The Tanote Villa Hotel offers many different room types ranging from garden view suites to complete villas with a private pool. Room sizes tend to be around 18m2 with either a balcony or small terrace. The most popular room is the Deluxe Pool Access Suite which is perfect for honeymooners or couples. All rooms have a large ensuite bathroom, a flatscreen TV, AC, and a minibar.
If you’re looking for a real treat why not book one of the villas located on the grounds of the hotel? These detached bungalows or full-on houses vary in size and some even come with a private pool. The largest is the Suite Pool Villa, a multi-story villa with a large pool, an outdoor bathtub and multiple bedrooms. This villa is perfect for larger groups or multiple couples travelling together.
